Wishing everyone a wonderful and prosperous "Second Harvest" at this Autumn/Fall Equinox.
Arum Lily has another story of the Wisdom from the Faery Realm and wishes to share it with you all as only "A Faery Tells"
You are welcomes back to the "Fair Meadow", that beautiful place between the Worlds of the Human and Faery Realms. A place of Magick and Peacefulness that fills you with the Light of the Autumn Sun. As you awaken in this Faery Realm you see and hear the busy workings of the Fine Faery Folk as they prepare the Second Harvest produce for the coming months. Our friend Arum Lily is taking a break under the apple tree happily munching on her favorite fruit. She sees you and comes running over to your side. Laughingly she falls down and pulls you with her. You lie there looking up into the blue sky and feel totally relaxed and at peace in this special space. Arum Lily is always glad to see you because it gives her a chance to recount yet another magickal story of the Faery Wisdom as only a "Faery Tells".
Long ago at another Autumn Equinox the Faeries gathered to celebrate the Change of Season. It was the Autumn Equinox and the days of Light were getting shorter. Much work had to be accomplished before the hours of Dark restricted the Faery sight from working the Harvest. There was much anticipation at how much had been harvested so far this year and how much everyone would receive as reward for their labors. The Faery King and Queen arrived in their traditional Golden Pumpkin Carriage and took their honored places in the center of the Faery Ring. After much merriment, song and dance the time had come for the grand Ceremony of Distribution. Each Faery came before the King and Queen and they were presented with an equal and fair portion of the Harvest Goods. All the Faeries were quite pleased with their share except for a few workers who shouted their discontent and anger. These unhappy Faeries felt that they had worked so much harder than everyone else and they expressed their discontent on not receiving a better reward. Instead of staying and taking part in the Celebrations they went off in a very bad and sour mood. Once outside and away from the Festivities they plotted and then returned after the party and stole away a bigger portion of the Harvest Goods that they felt they rightly deserved. A few days later the Faery King and Queen discovered that the Goods had been stolen and asked the guilty parties to come forward. The King and Queen were not angry and promised that no harsh judgment would follow the dark nasty act. None of the responsible Faeries came forward and now the King and Queen were very upset and disappointed. The Faery Queen as always devised anotherMagickal plan to catch these culprits. She organinzed an Autumn Moon Dance and each Faery upon entry to the Dance received one of her Special Candy Apples. These apples had been Magickally Modified so that any dishonest Faery would get an upset stomach after eating it.
The culprit Faeries were easily discovered and the Faery King always true to his word did not punish them but rather put them to back to work alone in the Dark orchard to pick apples for the next few nights. The Faery King and Queen then reminded all the Faeries that when we feel we are being treated unfairly we need to discuss it rather than seeking revenge. Revenge has never solved any problem but certainly makes a situation unbearable to the guilty. Remeber Faeries trying to keep a lie alive is much harder than telling the truth. Lies live in the Darkness but Truth is always in the Light because it is not afraid to be heard or seen. The culprit Faeries realized this important Wisdom as they continued to work alone in the Dark orchard. They spoke to each other truthfully saying: "perhaps we did not work as hard as we thought", and "maybe everyone is just working as hard as they can". They also came to realize that no one Faery can work the same as another; as we all work differently. There is no room to judge or else we are really judging ourselves. The Faery King and Queen were very pleased when they heard what these Faeries had to say and in the end it was agreed by all the Faeries that they had received what they had truly earned. But most importantly a Harvest must be done in the Light in order to see what it is that we reap from our Labors. A great cheer was heard from all as they agreed that they had received what they had truly earned.
Arum Lily's story has come to an end and she gets up and stretches her arms and legs. She nods her farewell and shakes some Magick Apple Seeds over your head. As you feel yourself drifting back to your Realm you can just make out the whisperings of another story as only "A Faery Tells".
Blessing of the Autumn Equinox & Second Harvest Season Upon you all May you Reap the Rewards of your Personal Harvest with Much Love and Abundance.
